Microgen Accounting Hub (MAH) accounting engine is rules-based, delivering accounting consistency, financial transparency and product agility at both an enterprise and a divisional level. Features include:

MAH handles all system integration needs in a single cohesive visual tool offering the data standardization, validation, enrichment, transformation and exception management required to accept data from multiple sources.
MAH supports the concept of product lifecycles with the accounting definitions for each stage of the product lifecycle being defined. MAH is also designed to support complex structured products.
The extensible data model can store the transactional data to allow reversal accounting and drill down from accounts, balances and summary postings to the event level.
MAH creates consistent accounting using a rules-based approach and best practice templates. Accounting policies are implemented using a table-driven method through standard screens. Client specific rules can be configured using the graphical environment of Microgen Aptitude. Manual adjustment screens and approval processes are provided. Accounting can be seen and controlled by finance staff.
The Hub supports multi-currency, multi-GAAP, multi-entity environments, and has been integrated with most GLs, including SAP, Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft, generating the accounting entries (db/cr's) plus feeds to a data warehouse and other downstream systems. Downstream systems such as the Data Warehouse and GL are kept in line, facilitating easier analysis, drill down, investigation and reconciliation.
Microgen Accounting Hub creates an audit trail on all transactions and reference data changes. Comprehensive security and roles are included.
