Microgen PowerQuote
Microgen's PowerQuote is more that an electricity pricing system, it provides an 'Out the Box' solution to support retail electricity suppliers from 'Bid to Bill'. As such it has modules that support:

- Registration
- Bill Line generation
Due to the 'Out the Box' product nature of Microgen PowerQuote it can be implemented very quickly, typically 4 to 6 months including standard interface development and initial data population.
Pricing
The Pricing module is the core of the Microgen PowerQuote system and is in use with some of the largest retail electricity suppliers in the UK. It provides comprehensive support for the generation of fixed price quotations and contracts for both the Interval (HH) and Non-Interval (NHH) market sectors
Registration Module
The registration module automates the generation and receipt of high volume UK electricity Data Transfer Network messages, leaving you to concentrate of the exception handling. It supports not just 'Registration' / 'De-registration' but also the major meter life-cycle events for both HH and NHH meters
Bill Line Generation Module
The PowerQuote Bill Line Generation module (BLG) bridges the complexity gap, by pre-calculating the individual bill lines and forwarding to the billing system for fulfilment. A key benefit from this approach is that if you can price and offer in Microgen PowerQuote the BLG can bill it, meaning that the Pricing experts are not limited by the functionality of the billing system.

Microgen's PQ+ solutions framework is the only application on the market that provides fully configurable quotation management for both fixed and flexible pricing requirements.
Users can take advantage of menu-driven cost parameters, flexible contract terms and integrated forecast usage feeds, allowing them to quickly and accurately produce single or multiple offer quotations for customers and prospects either directly or via multiple Third Party Intermediaries without data conflicts.
An individual quotation can include meters from multiple market sectors, such as HH and NHH Electricity, and even multiple fuels, such as electricity and gas.
Once generated individual quotations can easily be adjusted throughout the negotiation cycle using pre-determined sales tolerances and/or escalation authorisation rules with a full audit trail. This maximises the probability of contract wins whilst minimising the cost of sale. Importantly, account managers are provided with full visibility of contract details, current status and all negotiation iterations, allowing organisations to provide high levels of customer service.
As the PQ+ Solutions framework is built on the Microgen AptitudeTM Business Process Modelling package it can be interfaced to existing systems, such as SAP, through a set of adaptors. This means that PQ+ will fit into almost any systems environment and as a solutions framework can be fully customised to meet your individual requirements.
