Financial Data Repository
Microgen’s Financial Data Repository (FDR) retains transaction level, financial-accurate data from across an enterprise.
Microgen’s Financial Data Repository provides a datawarehouse for finance, treasury MIS and regulatory reporting. The Financial Data Repository works in tandem with the Microgen Accounting Hub Sub Ledger to provider a transparent view from any general ledger line item to an individual account.
At the heart of the Microgen Financial Data Repository is a data model that covers all the major instruments and contracts used in banking sectors. The Microgen Financial Data Repository supports full trade and transaction life cycle control, balance drill-down, exception management, and business activity monitoring
The FDR stores transactions and associated reference data from across an enterprise. These transactions are stored as Debits and Credits in the MAH Subledger, ultimately enabling firms to drill down from General Ledger balances to individual transactions.
The Microgen Financial Data Repository is particularly suited for financial institutions, including investment and retail banks, as well as insurance companies.
Products supported include the following:
- Retail banking, retail mortgages, personal loans, credit card, savings and bonds and current accounts
- Insurance contracts
- Corporate banking: letters of credit, guarantees, collections, loan and deposits
- Investment banking: Bonds, Equities, Mortgages and mortgage-backed securities, Loans, Deposits, Repos and other collateralised instruments, Exchange traded derivatives, OTC derivatives including complex structured products.
- Telco and media products
The Microgen Financial Data Repository comes packaged as a core module of Microgen Accounting Hub, which provides enterprises with a single point of control for financial and accounting data.
